"We have dedicated this facility and staff to serving our patients and families in the manner of Christ Jesus the Savior. Jesus, though he was completely innocent and pure was nailed to a cross. His sacrifice and resurrection are an example to us in how we should serve one another. Though He was cursed, He blessed. Though He was hated, He loved. While He was still on the cross He said "forgive them for they do not know what they are doing." Christ served with love and we are charged to do the same. This is our standard; a high calling. If we speak to co-laborers and patients using even the sweet words of angels, but do it for self gain and do not have love we are but a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. If we are the smartest and best doctors and nurses, even able to work miracles of healing, but do not have love, we are nothing and this is all for nothing. If we give all of our possessions, even all of ourselves to do good things, such as feed the poor or heal the sick, but do not have love, this is all for nothing. We must be patient and kind. We must not be jealous or envious. We must not brag about how good we think we are. We should be humble, not arrogant. We must behave appropriately and professionally towards one another. We must not seek what is best for ourselves but what is best for others. We must be slow to anger and react but rapid to forgive when someone has injured, insulted, or hurt us in some way. We must not celebrate, talk or laugh about immoral things. We must think and talk about good things. We must bear one another's burdens and those of our patients. We must believe in the best and hope for the best in others. We must endure when trials and difficulties occur and they will. We may have gifts of vast knowledge, miraculous healing, and great wisdom but one day these will all be gone. One day we will see that clearly and be clearly seen. These three things will always be: faith, hope and love. The greatest of these is love. Let us be known by our love for one another and our love for our patients and family. May the service done inside this building have an everlasting benefit to those that work here and pass through here."
